Riddle me this: my wifi seems to have stopped working this afternoon. Everything worked fine when I posted that sketch, I walked away for two hours, and when I come back, no fucking wifi.
Wired/Ethernet on the desktop is working fine, but phone and laptop don’t see the network. It looks like they see the router as a default name (Zoom_xxx). It’s a Zoom router. Never seen this kinda problem before. Not sure how to fix. No amount of unplugging, swearing, and restarting has yet changed the status. I’m at a loss.
Any help? Oilstain Lab Half11 for your time.

That car looks like a Lotus Europa on major steroids, as far as the wifi--unplug and restart are about the extent of my technical skills these days. Sometimes there is a pin button on devices for a hard reboot if all else fails.

uh... sounds like dead wireless router? We had one die a couple years ago - everything worked fine when hard wired to the modem but nothing was getting through the router. New router solved the problem...

Well, that’s what I’m starting to suspect. Wired (desktop) works fine. Router logs show a bunch of errors starting this afternoon. WLAN light on the router is green, but I can’t seem to make it show up. I’m currently hot-spotting from my phone, which is super slow, given that IT’S NOT ON WIFI.
Every goddamn time I turn around, something else is broken. It’s making me fucking crazy.

What’s baffling me is that the laptop will see the router, as its default model name (not the name of the network). Like, the router is working, and just erased my network name/info. And I have no idea how to connect to it that way. I can log on to the router from the wired desktop, and the network name and everything is all the same.
Fucking baffling.
